Boston-IA Membership

Now is a great time to join Boston-IA!

On November 1, 2010, the Boston-IA Board of Directors voted to remove the expiration dates from individual Boston-IA memberships until further notice!

Individual Boston-IA memberships are $15. Once you become a member of Boston-IA, your membership is good until you opt out. All current memberships have been extended automatically.

We continue to offer high-quality programs regarding Internet Accessibility, Universal Web Design, and— in its broadest sense— Information Accessibility.

Membership allows you to:

  • Support Boston-IA in its work of making accessibility mainstream.
  • Connect with other people interested in accessibility and usability.
  • Participate in our member-only discussion group, the Boston-IA Forum.
  • Hear about all Boston-IA activities.
  • Attend our events for free.
  • Learn about events by our sister organizations in the Boston area.
  • Receive about targeted job leads.

Boston-IA Forum Discussion Group

The Boston-IA Forum, our interactive e-mail discussion group, is a great benefit for members of Boston-IA.

The Forum allows members of Boston-IA to share information about making electronic information more accessible and usable, to ask questions, and to discuss topics of mutual interest with other members of Boston-IA.

Forum subscribers are welcome to send information they think will be useful to other members, ask questions about accessibility topics, reply to questions from others, participate in discussions, or just listen in.

Boston-IA uses the Forum to pass along job leads we receive, news from related organizations, and helpful hints for making information more accessible to everyone.

Boston-IA members are automatically subscribed to the Boston-IA Forum when they join Boston-IA. They can opt out at any time.

A web site allows subscribers to read archived messages or change their Forum options. You can control how you receive the Boston-IA Forum (as individual e-mail messages or in digest form), or you can read messages on the Web. You can change your password, suspend mail delivery when you travel, unsubscribe, or re-subscribe to change your e-mail address.
